Hi David sorry didn't spot your question, the decals are a light silver that's got the dull lacquer finish over the top. Colour scheme is 746 also knows as BOB.
Very nice Enders, don't you think you should cut the fork steer tube down though!? not sure about all those spacers above the stem and you could save at least 10 gramms...
Hahaa, Well I left a bit to see how it felt, think I'll cut it right down now as I'm happy with it, Special K!
BTW Need to come down to yours soon and borrow them rollers! Need to do some strength intervals as I'm seriously behind the gang who've been turbo ing all winter! You on STRAVA?
After changing the front derailleur bracket everything is great. I've done two hilly 14 mile TT's and very happy with the bike. I've done 150 miles on it so far and it's performing admirably :-)
Nice bike mate :) I'm thinking to build my own as well soon.
How is the ride compared to the original or compared to similarly priced bike ?
I am planning to do climb and descent once my fitness level improved (slowly lol) and just want to make sure that the bike will not break during 80km/h descent... >_<
I haven't ridden the real thing, there's two Dogma 2's in our club but they have different pedals so not ridden one to compare. All I can say is it rides well, I have full confidence in the bike and have a local short hill where I'm trying to beam the KOM on strava, max out at 40mph on it and the chinarello dog laps it up ;o)
Mike, are your decals (such as the 65.1) silver or white?
ReplyDeleteWas the colour THINK2 746?

Hi Great bike!
ReplyDeleteI'm considering the same frame and a similar paint job. Have you done many kilometres now, how is the frame holding up?
Thanks
