Frame Measurements

People have asked about actual frame dimensions so here they are as stated by Great Keen and my measurements for a size 53cm frame

Size 530/530
L1 534.1/530 It's a tear shaped seat post so I'm measuring to it's overall centre
AR 406/406
S 582/582
E 72/72
F 43/Can't measure accurately
G 977.1/980
T 270/270
A 125/125

So it's spot on really, to measure top tube I measured the height of the top of the head from the floor and went up to the same height on the seat post so it should be right, 4mm is nothing really.

  1. Just out of interest, whats your height and leg length? Love the bike, tempted to purchase exactly the same, with the same decals!

  2. Thanks for the pics. Could you take one from underneath the bottom bracket. I'm curious what the routing bracket underneath looks like.

Also I assume you haven't had a chance to actually ride it?

  4. David, 5'10" with inside leg 31".

Feels perfect but I'm no expert. went for fractionally smaller geometry than my Look 481 in 53cm

  5. Bike nut,

Will post a pic later, there is a rectangular recess, a full width slot/hole on the downtube /front side and 2 holes on rear, one into the rear stay, one sheathed up through the rear for the front derailleur. GK have used a stock cable guide rather than the bespoke one Pina use. I had to cut 3mm off the front mech guide side to allow cable to cleanly feed up the hole.

  6. Don't worry about the pic. From your description it's what I thought it would look like. Seems there is a newer rev of this frame that has the bespoke cable guide and 4 bolt f.derailleur hanger. They're using Pino's geo chart too. So supposedly the geo is a closer match not that it was off much before. GK doesn't seem to be selling it yet.

  7. Yeah the newer model does seem to have the cable routing similar to the original and the 4 rivets on the mech hanger but it is also pricier than GK.

  10. Another thing I also find very confusing is the douchey nature of pinarello owners. The chinese now seems to have almost perfected the specialized venge design as well but you dont see the owners of specialized moaning and groaning over it.

And then there is always the cervelo copies. Maybe it is just the mindset of people that buy certain bikes. Similiar to people on the road who own fancy audis and try to run you off at every chance. Oh well!

  11. Hi Osamah,

The aliexpress one doesn't have ridges at the chain stay and have less pronounced ridges on the rest of the tubes...hmmmmm

    1. I'm 1.77m and think I could go a tad smaller. I'm using a 100mm stem, tried a 120mm stem but that one is too long and I'd prefer the 120 so for you I'd say definitely 53

    2. I'm 172 cm tall. Should I go for the 53 or smaller?

    3. I don't think I'm in a position to say. I'm no expert. Best thing is to try some bikes look at measurements and pickone tthat's closest.
